Your Arrival
Parking
Follow the signs for ‘First Time Guest Parking’ and park where the orange cones are reserving your spot. You will be greeted by someone in an Orange Shirt (our parking lot ministry team).
Black Vests
For directions or information, just ask any one wearing a black vest. These folks are our Host Ministry Team. They are eager to assist you.
Children
One of the best things about Oak Hills is our Children’s Ministry—Bibleland. Classes and Praise Times are offered for children from age 3 months through fifth grade. The Host ministry will escort you to the right area and help get your children checked in. Bible classes are offered at the same times as our Sunday assemblies. On Saturday evening children’s classes are offered from age 3 months to 3 years old. Your children are welcome to stay with you during the service and be a part of a special children’s time with the minister.

What to Expect
Praise and Worship
Worship begins with music. The words to the songs appear on the large screens up front. Everyone is invited to join in singing. The singers on the stage are there to lead us. Music begins about 10 minutes before the service officially begins.
Welcome and Announcements
You’ll find a tear-away registration card in the Worship Bulletin. You can fill this out and share with us any special prayer requests or needs that you might have. Then place the card in the collection basket when it’s passed.
Communion
We celebrate communion every weekend. Communion is a time when we remember Christ’s sacrificial death for our sins. All believers are invited to join us. First the bread will be passed. Take a portion and as you eat, remember Christ’s suffering. Next the tray with small cups of grape juice will be distributed. Take a cup and drink the juice, remembering Christ’s blood. Replace the empty cup in the tray. We do not hold the elements and wait to take them together at one time.
Prayer time
Oak Hills is known as a church of prayer. During the worship assembly people are given an opportunity to pray with one of the elders, ministers, or prayer partners. If you have any special needs or prayer requests you are invited to join us for this time of prayer.
Offering
As our guest, you should not feel obligated to give an offering. This part of the service is for those who have committed to give back to God through tithes and offering so that we can participate in God’s work.
Sermon
The lesson from the Bible helps us to understand God’s word and apply His teachings to our everyday life.
